Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. She is best known for her character Skyler White in the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. Theatre studies was through Northwestern University. A semester was completed at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before taking on film and television roles. In 1992 Anna got her first major role as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's, she was given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood and was filming between 2000 and 2001. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional work. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
