Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a performer, comedian and known for expressing her wit in a humorous way. She plays April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. It was with The Jeannie Tate Show the actress launched her own web-based show, by performing sketch comedy, improvised material and other forms of improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She went on to appear on Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World at the end of her career. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born in Wilmington Delaware. The mother of the child is Irish, English and Irish as is her father, who was Puerto Rican. Plaza was a student at a Catholic girls school from 2002 until 2006. She then attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. When she was a student at the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza was the president of the Student Government. Plaza was paralyzed for some time in 2004 after having a stroke. Today, she's completely healed. Plaza is a performer of improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two places located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza was seen in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and the first episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. In CollegeHumor's Troopers, she was the Princess, the satirical Sci-Fi character. Plaza made her debut as a saxophonist with the band Cassorla's Bona Fide. Her first appearance was on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. As Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared in HarmonQuest's HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. Also, she portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History and Cat Adams for Season 11 of C.B.S. Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the character. In the year following, it was revealed after that Plaza is set to appear on a comedy that is independent named An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
